Football Pointless. One question a day, like players who played for Liverpool and Newcastle, or Brazilians who played for Schalke. Give three answers. The more obvious the answer, the fewer points it scores. The household name scores 5. The one-season squad player scores up to 100. A wrong answer scores nothing.
Score 150 or more out of 300 to keep your streak. At the end you see the most obvious answers and the rarest ones you could have had.
At launch, rarity comes from how well known each player is: top-flight and European appearances from Transfermarkt. Once 30 people have answered a question, the score switches to what everyone actually said, so an answer nobody else gave is worth 100 on the day.
Do not open with the first name that comes into your head. Everyone else thought of him too. Think about loan players, back-up keepers and players who were at one of the clubs for a single season.
He has to have played for both clubs, or match the nationality, in our career data. Youth teams do not count.
